玩法方面堪称缝合怪的天花板！它巧妙融合了两种看似完全不搭的类型——肉鸽地牢和模拟经营。白天你要经营你的教会，给信徒们布道、做饭、打扫粪便、举办仪式，看着他们一脸虔诚的样子，那种当教主的成就感油然而生。晚上则要亲自下地牢，挥舞武器释放咒术，在随机生成的地图中杀出一条血路，收集资源带回教会发展。
最骚的是信徒管理系统！每个信徒都有自己的性格特点和需求，有人勤劳爱干活，有人好吃懒做，有人甚至会密谋造反。你可以给他们赐福提升忠诚度，也可以把他们献祭来获得力量，更可以把不听话的送进冥想室关禁闭。当你的教会从最初的两三个人发展到几十号信徒，每天开大会的时候站在讲台上俯瞰众生，那种感觉，真的会上瘾！
